Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management:
- Assess, plan, coordinate, and monitor the medical services and treatment plans for injured workers.
- Serve as a liaison between injured workers, employers, healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and attorneys.
- Maintain regular communication with all parties to ensure smooth progress and resolution of claims.
- Claims Coordination:
- Review medical records and claims documentation to evaluate the extent of injuries and treatment needs.
- Monitor claim progression and treatment milestones to ensure adherence to guidelines and cost containment.
- Coordinate Qualified Medical Exams (QMEs).
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date case notes, reports, and documentation in case management software.
