Job: Tax Professional
Location: Red Hook, NY
Salary: $70,000-$110,000 BOE

Job Summary
Our client is a growing tax consulting and accounting firm seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Professional to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is interested in long-term career growth.
Job Duties:
- Prepare and review a variety of tax returns, including:
- Individual
- Partnership
- Corporate
- Estate and Trust
- Assist clients with tax planning and tax strategy
- Perform bookkeeping and accounting functions
- Process payroll and payroll tax filings
- Prepare and file sales tax returns
- Calculate and manage estimated tax payments
- Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and financial questions
- Maintain organized and accurate client records
- Depending on experience level, assist with HR functions and/or management responsibilities
Qualifications:
- 8-10+ years of experience in public accounting or tax preparation preferred
- Strong knowledge of individual, partnership, corporate, and estate/trust taxation
- Experience with bookkeeping, payroll processing, payroll taxes, and sales tax
- Proficiency with QuickBooks preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to think quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and client service skills
Pay: $70,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
