SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking a Risk Manager to assist with overall management of a comprehensive corporate insurance program along with corporate risk management duties with a concentration on risk identification, risk transfer, and risk retention techniques.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain primary responsibility for managing the corporate insurance program, renewal process, and all other interaction between our brokers and insurers

Lead the review and placement of insurance policies on a project specific basis

Develop and maintain external relationships with insurance brokers and insurance carrier partners

Assist business leaders in the review and negotiation of agreements including owner agreements, design agreements, subcontracts, leases etc.

Management and oversight of a corporate risk management team providing daily project support for operating groups

Oversee the risk analysis, accurate pricing, and placement of insurance coverage for all new project pursuits

Provide support to drive corporate initiatives and to facilitate the risk management process

Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels

Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience

Minimum five years’ experience in risk management or insurance industry
