Provides interpretative analyses of complex regulatory guidance documents, regulations, and directives that impact Gorilla products. This position will provide regulatory support and expertise to business units regarding requirements for selling products and conducting business globally. This role focuses on compliance, preparation of existing and new chemical reviews as per country notification requirements, and ensures that the company’s products are in compliance with all regulatory requirements. _x005F_x000D_

Manages the preparation and timely submission of regulatory assessments and documents._x005F_x000D_
Facilitate the objectives and tasks of junior associates. Monitor, review and collaborate with staff to ensure growth opportunities for the company and team are fulfilled. _x005F_x000D_
Responsible for performing safety assessments for a diverse portfolio of chemicals and ingredients used in products developed by Gorilla in support of global new chemical notifications and to meet global hazard communication requirements. _x005F_x000D_
Evaluating complex regulatory requirements against the business activities and working with the functional leads._x005F_x000D_
Keeping leadership apprised of any changes in regulatory obligations or potential risks/liabilities._x005F_x000D_
Conduct a formula review, label review and TRAs for new product launches for North America._x005F_x000D_
Monitor, interpret, and communicate regulatory issues that will impact products and business strategies._x005F_x000D_
Maintain a thorough knowledge of emerging technical and regulatory issues within the geographical areas of responsibility._x005F_x000D_
Working with the Regulatory Group, manage areas of regulatory risk to core business activities in their region of responsibility and report finds to manager and team._x005F_x000D_
Coordinate and oversee human, environmental, physical chemical, and other testing including assessment of new data to meet regulatory reporting obligations._x005F_x000D_
Analyze and interpret test results in preparation for submission to regulatory agencies globally._x005F_x000D_
Contribute to the development and execution of product defense strategies using toxicology, chemistry and other scientific disciplines._x005F_x000D_
Document study findings, research and all applicable product registrations._x005F_x000D_

10+ years' direct work experience in the product regulatory discipline._x005F_x000D_
Strong working knowledge of the regulations of both regional and national authorities governing product safety and registrations (CPSC, Health Canada, TSCA, REACH, etc.)_x005F_x000D_
Familiarity and use of WERCS_x005F_x000D_
Knowledge of product risk management._x005F_x000D_
Proficient in GHS compliant safety data sheets and labelling requirements._x005F_x000D_
