We are a growing personal injury law firm committed to providing outstanding client service and maximizing recoveries for accident victims. We are looking for a dedicated and organized Case Manager to join our pre-litigation team.
Position Overview
The Case Manager will manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients and works closely with attorneys, medical providers, and insurance carriers to ensure cases progress efficiently and clients receive excellent support.Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of pre-litigation personal injury cases from claim initiation through settlement and case closure
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and compassionate communication
- Initiate insurance claims, request police reports, and gather supporting documentation
- Coordinate and monitor medical treatment; communicate with healthcare providers
- Request, review, organize, and summarize medical records and bills
- Handle property damage claims and related communications with carriers
- Prepare case files and supporting materials for demand packages
- Assist with lien identification, reductions, and resolution (including Medicare, Medicaid, and private liens)
- Maintain accurate and organized case files in the firm’s case management system
- Meet deadlines and ensure timely case progression
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to move cases toward resolution
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Case Manager or similar role in a plaintiff personal injury law firm
- Strong knowledge of personal injury claims processes, medical documentation, and insurance procedures
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume caseload
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Client-focused mindset with professionalism and empathy
- Proficiency with case management software (Filevine, Clio, or similar preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience negotiating medical liens or property damage claims
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
