As SimuTech Group continues to grow across the United States and Canada, the HR Compliance Analyst will play a critical role in strengthening the organization’s compliance infrastructure. This role serves as the first line of ownership for employee handbooks, HR policies, employee relations documentation, and audit readiness activities.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will help ensure consistent policy administration, maintain regulatory compliance, and support employee relations processes while building the foundation for future HR systems, reporting, and analytics responsibilities

What This Role Owns

The HR Compliance Analyst is accountable for:

  • Maintaining employee handbooks and HR policies across U.S. and Canadian operations
  • Supporting employee relations documentation, case management, and process consistency
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws, reporting requirements, and audit standards
  • Managing compliance calendars, required filings, postings, and training deadlines
  • Building scalable HR documentation, processes, and standard operating procedures
  • Supporting future growth in HRIS reporting, data integrity, and workforce analytics

Core Competencies

Compliance & Policy Management

  • Maintain, update, and distribute employee handbooks and HR policies.
  • Monitor employment law changes and recommend policy updates.
  • Draft and maintain HR policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support policy alignment across jurisdictions and business units.

Employee Relations

  • Support employee relations case intake, documentation, and file management.
  • Assist with investigations, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary documentation.
  • Provide guidance on policy interpretation and escalation procedures.
  • Ensure confidentiality, consistency, and legal defensibility of records.

Compliance Monitoring & Audit Readiness

  • Support internal and external HR audits.
  • Track compliance training completion and address gaps.
  • Maintain compliance calendars, filings, and regulatory deadlines.
  • Support EEO, affirmative action, and related compliance reporting requirements.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and business leaders.
  • Document and improve HR operational processes.
  • Support future HRIS data accuracy, reporting, and dashboard development.
  • Identify opportunities to improve compliance and employee relations workflows.

Growth & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop expertise in HR compliance and employee relations.
  • Gain exposure to HR systems, reporting, and analytics.
  • Contribute to scalable people processes that support organizational growth.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2-4 years of HR experience with exposure to compliance, policy administration, or employee relations.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment law; Canadian employment law experience is a plus.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to draft policies, procedures, and employee relations documentation with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP, UKG, SuccessFactors, or similar systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.

Pay Range

$70,000 – $90,000 annually (Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, and geographic location.)

Location

Rochester, NY area preferred (Hybrid), Open to Remote candidates located in the United States or Canada
