This is an independent business opportunity, not an employment position. Elite Mint Tax Software provides the software platform, technical support, and training — you bring your own EFIN, your own PTIN, and your own clients, and run your own tax preparation business under your own brand.
We do not provide clients, leads, or an office. If you’re looking for a job where clients are assigned to you, this opportunity is not a fit. If you already have (or are actively building) your own client base and want better software, support, and payout structure, keep reading.
What This Is
- You operate as an independent Electronic Return Originator (ERO) using our software
- You keep and grow your own client relationships — we don’t supply clients
- You set your own hours and work from anywhere in the U.S.
- You control your own payroll/payout schedule through bank product fast-funding options
What You’ll Do
- Prepare accurate federal and state individual (and business, if applicable) tax returns for your own clients
- Submit returns electronically using Elite Mint Tax Software
- Maintain IRS compliance and client confidentiality
- Optionally build and train a team of preparers under your EFIN if you want to grow

Minimum Requirements
- Active EFIN — this is required because you are filing returns as your own business, not as our employee
- Valid PTIN
- An existing client base, or a concrete plan for acquiring clients this season — we do not supply clients
- At least 1 year of tax preparation experience
- Reliable computer/internet and strong communication skills

Pay: $33.42 – $40.24 per hour
