Job Summary:
As a Commercial Insurance Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service to our clients while supporting the team in managing commercial insurance policies. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with clients, insurance carriers, and team members to ensure our clients receive the best possible coverage and support.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to commercial insurance clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Assist clients in understanding their insurance policies, coverage options, and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, bind coverage, and resolve underwriting issues.
- Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and organized client records and documentation.
- Assist with claims reporting and follow-up as needed.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, insurance products, and underwriting guidelines to provide informed recommendations to clients and support agents.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties, such as data entry and scheduling appointments.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Previous experience in the insurance industry is preferred, with a preference for commercial insurance experience.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency with computer applications and insurance agency management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
