Austin-based law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated person to join its legal claims resolution team. This team manages pre-suit legal claims and early-stage litigation involving allegedly defective motor vehicles across 15 states.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys negotiation, ownership of a claims docket, and works well cross-functionally with attorneys, clients, and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a docket of pre-suit claims and early-stage lawsuits from intake through resolution
- Investigate, analyze, and evaluate legal claims to support early resolution strategies
- Prepare clear and concise case analyses based on gathered facts and documents
- Communicate professionally and confidently with client representatives, local counsel, opposing counsel, and internal attorneys
- Negotiate settlement of legal claims
- Maintain complete, accurate, and well-organized electronic claim files
- Use multiple platforms and databases to collect and track claim information
- Conduct calls with clients, vendors, and external parties to obtain documentation and follow up on outstanding requests

- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently while collaborating with a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Positive, professional demeanor and the ability to work effectively with all levels of firm personnel

Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
